Te Whakatauki o Ngai Takoto – Our Retelling.

Kia ora e te Whanau Katoa. We are excited to share our ‘Film’ Te Whakatauki o Ngai Takoto – Our Retelling with you all. Students in Te Kauru created the film starting by finding out more about the Whakatauki, creating a storyboard to help with the retelling, and then using it to guide who and what mahi needed to be done. Students were the scriptwriters to retell the whakatauki, camera people, prop makers, costume collectors, sound and effects crew, film editors, and of course the wonderful actors from Te Kauru, Te Tinana, and Te Pihi. A big pakipaki to them all.

We hope you enjoy our film.
